It's 3:32am.
You know this because you've checked your phone four times in the last hour. Not because you want to. Because your eyes snapped open — again — and your brain immediately switched into a state that has no business existing at this hour. Heart slightly racing. Mind already running. Body burning up one minute, freezing the next.
You're exhausted. You've been exhausted for months. And yet here you are. Again.
You've tried melatonin. You've tried magnesium — the good kind, everyone said it would work. You might even be on HRT, which helped a little but didn't fix this. Didn't fix the 3am. Didn't fix the lying there for two hours while your husband sleeps soundly beside you.
You're not imagining it. You're not being dramatic.
But here's what nobody has told you yet.
This isn't a sleep problem.
